Water has always been central to Whitbread’s business and its corporate social responsibility agenda. Being customer driven, it is a vital element in the operation of its sites. With a deepening water crisis forecast, organisations need to be proactive from both a CSR and operational perspective.

The delivery of efficiency and control was key, with high quality data being central to successful outcomes. Decisions are difficult without data and Self-Supply was incredibly beneficial for providing the actionable insight needed for this. Utilising this data on risk mapping and water disclosure helped drive year-on-year improvements for the environment and identified risks and opportunities for Whitbread.
