Retail Contracts Support – New Role

In April 2017 the UK water market opened up to competition. As part of our self-supply initiative, Waterscan represents clients in market transactions and acts as a managing agent to ensure licence compliance and delivers all the services a retailer would and more.

The Retail Contracts Support role will become part of this innovative new team, fully supporting the Retail Contracts Manager. The role will include; processing transactions onto CMOS (Central Market Operating System) and Waterline, communicating with third party suppliers (such as software suppliers/designers) and presenting data and analysis to Waterscan personnel and customers.

Key Skills required are: Advanced Excel, a high level of maths and preferably a good understanding of at least one of the following; Visual Basic coding (VBA), Business Intelligence System (BI System), Object Orientated Programming language. A good commercial sense is also required. The successful candidate will be analytical, proactive, adaptable, a self-starter and a confident communicator.

Account Executive

Working within the Waterline Team based in our Chichester office, this role involves; water bill validation, analysis & reporting for a portfolio of clients identifying and securing potential savings. Strong numeracy, IT and analytical skills required along with an aptitude for customer service. An ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines is essential.

Water Recycling Engineer

Waterscan are recruiting a Water Recycling Engineer based in the London area or with good access to the M25. The role covers the UK and includes the survey, installation and commissioning of water recycling systems (e.g. rainwater harvesting & greywater recycling) and general plumbing work such as leak repairs, water meter installations and pipework alterations.

We are looking for experienced candidates who are conscientious, dependable and well organised with an ability to offer solutions and improvements as required.

Key skills are: confined spaces experience, mechanical and/or electrical installation/maintenance experience, familiarity with water treatment equipment e.g. pumps, controllers, tanks, pipework, pipefitting skills, general maintenance skills, good IT skills including MS Office, ability to travel nationally and stay away from home up to 4 nights a week as required, construction site experience.
